Singer, actor, and director. PJ is excited to be working with Colonial Williamsburg this summer as a part of the illustrious Harlem Players, performing in both Servant of Two Masters and Swordplay. He is currently finishing up another season touring with Virginia Repertory Theatre on this season's grand tour as Long John Silver in Treasure Island. This season he was also seen in the one man national tour of Apollo to the Moon. He was an extra in Steven Spielberg's award-winning Lincoln with Daniel Day Lewis and will be seen as an extra in season two of the Netflix Original, House of Cards. Other film credits include Wicked Attractions, Pretty Bad Girls, and Happily Never After, as well as the award-winning Colonial Williamsburg Educational film, Women of the Revolution.
He performed mainstage for Virginia Repertory Theatre in their summer production of Busy Town as Lowly Worm, Go, Dog, Go! as SpottedDog/Leading Player, The Little Red Hen as the Sheep, and as Clement in the Christmas Production of Twas the Night Before Christmas, National tours: Johnny Appleseed (title role), A Christmas Carol.(Ebenezer Scrooge), The Jungle Book, (Shear Khan), Main stage:Judah in Jesus Christ Superstar at Williamsburg Players, Abner in 42nd Street at the Round Barn Theatre and Franz in Virginia Musical Theatre's production of The Sound of Music. He has also worked with Virginia Opera covering roles such as Fredrick in Pirates of Penzance. Other favorite roles include: Cat in the Hat from Seussical, Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, and Morris Brummel in No Way to Treat a Lady. He has served as assistant director for several of Virginia Opera's productions including Wagner's Die Walküre and for Lyric Opera of Virginia's productions: La Traviata and The King and I.
He is a featured soloist on two Compact Disc recordings released by the Virginia Chorale Society .
PJ also works as an actor for Child First training social workers, detectives, and lawyers on how to interview sexually abused children.
